Hello Kitten...

Hello all,

So as promised, I finished playing around with my new kitten stamp (Hello by Stampavie). What fun I had with this kitten. Just so darn cute! I think he turned out quite well, I really like the paper, it's such a nice bright spring paper. It made the card fun and fresh, and this is what I came up with...

Hello Kitten:
Fur: C3 C5 C7
Ears: R20 RV21 RV23
Telephone: E11 E13 E15 C3
Border: B000 B0o0 E11 E13

A work in progress...

The finished product...

A close up of the sentiment on the outside of the card...

The inside of the card...

The paper I used is called "Cotton Tail/In the Meadow by We R Memory Keepers". The paper actually has outlines of little brown bunnies on it, but I cut out a section that didn't really have bunnies or that could be covered up in the layers. The blue is just the reverse side of the paper. Also, for the inside of the card, I just cut out a flower and two leaves from the cotton tail paper, distressed the edges and layered them onto the corner leaving plenty of room for stamping or writing a personal note. Sometimes tiny details make all the difference!

New Stamp...

Hello all,

So today i was poking around at a scrapbooking store and i came across this stamp. I think it is so cute! It is an older stamp AND I got it on clearance, which is awesome, because who doesn't like a deal right! So the stamp is designed by Laurence Attrill and comes from a company called Stampavie! The website is www.stampavie.com They have some of the most adorable stamps, so for all you stamp crazies out there, it might be a place worth checking out, if you haven't already been :)

So this is a picture of the stamp...
Seriously, how cute is this little kitty!!! I just love him, can't wait to play around. I will get stamp crazy tomorrow and see what i can come up with for this little cutie. So hopefully i will have some pictures for tomorrow!

My sister...

My sister always has the coolest photo's but i am never able to get my hands on them. Finally after harassing her enough awhile back, she gave me a whole bunch of funky photo's, and here is what i have done with some of them.

I just love this photo!!!

Sometimes when you are doing a layout, you just don't need anything to take away from the photo. So sometimes it's fun to do the bare minimum!!!

I adore funky photo's!!! Love the loud colored paper and and her cool shades!!!

More Copic coloring...

Hello everyone,

So here is another copic creation that I thought I would share with everyone. I have been admiring this stamp that I seen at Micheals for months, so the last time I was there, i broke down and bought it! It is a wooden blocked stamp by Inkadinkado, it is called Carousel Horse. I really love this stamp, I think mostly because i adore carousel horses!!!

So the colors I used are:

Horse: E30, E33
Mane: RV11, RV13
Pole: Y28
Saddle & banner center: RV21, RV23
Saddle pad & banner edging: BV11, BV13, BV17
Saddle trim & harness trim: B02, B04, B05
Saddle cinch: E15, E18
Bridle & saddle hardware: C5
Background: B000
And of course the colorless blender was used. Also the glitter was Stampun Up and the pink inking around the image was versamagic in pixie dust pink.

Here is the completed card...

The inside...

A close up of the inside...

A close up of the pin charm on the front of the card...

And there you have it, that is my carousel horse card, I hope you all enjoy it!!
